This year's CSR theme is "40 Years of Good Traces with Bank Jasa Jakarta". This theme illustrates the presence of Bank Jasa Jakarta which is strong for 40 years of serving customers while continuing to be committed to spreading goodness for the people in Indonesia.
Handrie Wirawan, Vice President Director of PT Bank Jasa Jakarta said, "Still in the celebration of the 40th anniversary of Bank Jasa Jakarta, we are committed to building a better future by providing scholarships and solopreneur skills workshop to Astra Polytechnic students. We recognize that investing in the younger generation is the key to unlocking the door to a brighter future. Through this scholarship program, it is hoped that it can ease the financial burden faced by students, so that they can focus on achieving higher academic achievements."
In addition, in the digital era like today, it is undeniable the importance of digitalization in every aspect of life, including education. Digitalization has brought about major changes in the way we learn, work, and interact.
"Therefore, in addition to providing scholarships, we also provide solopreneur skills training. This aims to enable students to start developing themselves from the beginning, with the help of digital technology. Through this training, we hope that students will have a solopreneur spirit and compete more competitively in the era of the growing digital economy," added Handrie.
Tri Yuli Adriana, Deputy Director IV of Astra Polytechnic stated, "ASTRAtech welcomes very positively the assistance from Bank Jasa Jakarta, in the form of scholarships, which are then followed up with debriefing programs for solopreneur skills for students. This reflects the concern of the industrial world and business in the world of education, which will be of great benefit to ASTRAtech students in completing their education and at the same time be a provision to apply their knowledge later."
Furthermore, the evolution of banking services worldwide, especially through Bank Jasa Jakarta's digital banking service Bank Saqu, is highly relevant in reflecting the need for education to keep pace with advancements in the application world. This is particularly crucial in facing the challenges of the digitalization era, which emphasizes continuous technological development, ease in meeting daily life needs, and prompt access to necessary services.
It is expected that the collaboration between Bank Jasa Jakarta and ASTRAtech as part of the Astra Group's value chain will continue to strengthen in the future through programs involving students, educators, professors, and instructors. These programs include engaging industry practitioners in the learning process and integrating challenges faced by Bank Jasa Jakarta's operations into research and community service programs for professors, in accordance with the principles of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education (teaching, research, and community service) that educators are committed to uphold.
The aspiration is for this scholarship program to persist and grow in the future, benefiting more students. Bank Jasa Jakarta remains dedicated to fostering collaboration and working hand in hand to create a better, more inclusive, and prosperous future for everyone.
