More than 100,000 Customers in a month, Here is Bank Saqu’s Strategy to Empower Indonesian Solopreneur

This shows Bank Saqu’s role in supporting small businesses and everyday people with a Solopreneur spirit.

Bank Saqu targets the younger generation, especially Indonesian Solopreneurs, which includes small business owners, freelancers, and full-time employees with a side-job. This segment proactively finds ways to grow, save more, invest efficiently, or even take loans for productivity, in order to reach more positive results in the long term.

Looking at Bank Saqu’s user data, as much as 70% are members of the public with a role as a Solopreneur. With these features, customers can save automatically using the transactional difference from QRIS usage. The savings will then be added to Saku Booster, a special Saku that saves every cashback that the customer receives from transactions using Bank Saqu. Customers can earn cashback in Saku Booster with a higher interest rate, reaching up to 10% per year with certain terms and conditions.

Alongside those two features, the Busposito feature has also been receiving a high level of enthusiasm from the public. Busposito is a deposit product in Indonesia that relies on the power of the community. In this feature, customers can raise the interest rate in a fun manner, by inviting family, friends, or the entire Bank Saqu community like how one would ride a bus, if the seats are filled, the bus can then depart with a higher interest rate. The more people join a Busposito, the higher interest rate a customer can receive, with a maximum of up to 7% per year.

Additionally, 43% of Bank Saqu’s customer base are in the 20-30 year old demographic who are domiciling in the Jabodetabek, Bandung, and Surabaya areas.
